New Furniture Product Developers develop new products or improve existing products used in residential, office or commercial settings. This apprenticeship is set to be withdrawn on 12th August 2025. Centres can still register new apprentices up to this date and any apprentices on programme can complete their apprenticeship.
New Furniture Product Developers create design briefs using their knowledge of industry specific legislation and understanding of products and materials. They manage the furniture product development and improvement process from conception through to product completion.
