This qualification enables learners to develop the knowledge and practical skills in wood machining. The qualification supports career progression, skills required for employment or further study. The qualification is published on the Register of Qualifications, 603/7656/9 and is regulated by Ofqual.
This qualification enables learners to develop the knowledge and skills required for employment, apprenticeships or further study. The qualification supports career progression in selected areas including making, industry multi-skills, finishing or restoring furniture; making soft furnishings or upholstery; machining wood or fitting interiors such as kitchens and offices.
