The esteemed judging panel consists of our very own Amanda Moore, managing director at Achieve + Partners in addition to Christian Notley, head of furniture studies at WorldSkills.

The Young Furniture Makers Awards 2025 are now accepting applications via the online portal:

Applications will close on June 21, 2025

1. Cash Prizes for Winner and two runners-up - prizes designed to support and develop emerging talent in the furnishing industry.
2. Certificate and recognition - from the industry’s preeminent organisation

Criteria and important information:

The Apprentice Award is open to current apprentices studying at L2 or L3 on furniture and furnishing related apprenticeships, or those who have completed their apprenticeship within the last 12 months.

1. Application Deadline: Candidates must ensure they have familiarised themselves with the criteria for the award before applying. 
2. Exhibition and Judging: Shortlisted applications will be invited to exhibit their pieces to the industry at the Young Furniture Makers exhibition in London on Wednesday, October 29th, where the final judging will take place.
3. Bursaries Available: Bursaries will be available for shortlisted students to help subsidise or cover their travel and transportation of their piece to the exhibition in London in October.
